Children's / Adult Amateur Hunter
Consistent ribbons at A-rated shows on the Florida winter circuit.
Kobi Rhodes' competitive riding career took him from Israel to Los Angeles to England — where he trained under Fred Welsh, the coach behind legendary international show jumpers — before bringing that elite expertise home to Wellington, Florida.
At Kobi's Place, the focus is on what matters most: conditioning horses to peak performance and teaching riders how to communicate effectively with their horse. Kobi believes this personalized approach — combined with commitment and consistency — is what separates his program. The results prove it: his horses and riders consistently compete at the highest levels across the East Coast.

We purchased a lovely horse through Kobi last fall. Kobi and his staff were very inviting and helpful — especially with our trainer unable to join us while we tried the horse. He accommodated all our trainer's requests and helped my daughter have a very positive experience with a young, larger horse than she was used to. She loved it so much she decided this was the horse she wanted. Thank you to Kobi and his team for such a positive experience and a great horse which she loves.
Working with Kobi's Place has always been a wonderful experience. Every transaction has been honest, transparent, and seamless from start to finish, and we have consistently been thrilled with the quality of the horses. We truly value the professionalism, trust, and integrity they bring to every partnership.
Every program begins with the horse — its way of going, its preferences, its day. The rider's plan adapts; the horse's welfare does not.
Flatwork, gymnastics, conditioning, and course work in rotation through the week — never more on the horse than the horse can carry well.
We ship to a show only when both horse and rider are ready for it. Ribbons are the residue of good preparation, never its purpose.
